If you are using our unmanaged server please also read this.

An unmanaged VPS, VDS, Dedicated Is a machine that is totally in your control. You have a ROOT access to it, Like a computer that gives you an administrative account you can change any settings and update etc.


A server that is not managed by a server admin and not secured can have so many security holes and in a long run might get hacked and you might face data loss.

Over the years we have seen many clients who buy a server without knowing the ABC of how to manage a servers . Some of them hire a server manager when it is already too late and they have made a lot of mess. If you do not know how to configure your VPS, secure and run it we advise you to use our server management addon service for a monthly fee or find yourself some body who knows what he is doing.

In some situations we discover that a client has some difficulty in managing a server if we are going to give help for a particular problem we have to end up spending hours of non related support and tutorial that is why we strongly discourage our clients from contacting us for tutorials and technical support to unmanaged servers and we ask them to use our community forum instead.
